Overall responsibilities:
A) To establish manage and maintain a Finance team and taking full responsibility of all the team's actions.
B) To establish close working relationships with all hotel Managers.
C) To be fully aware and comply to all legal aspects of Financial management.
D) To manage the business to the best of your ability managing this cost centre to the best of your ability in order to drive operating profit.
E) To prepare monthlyannual financial reports for the company.
F) To be responsible for the overall Finance practice of the business.
G) To protect ownership in every aspect to the best of your ability and to be aware that this position is a representation of ownership at all times.
H) To dress appropriately and smartly each day whenever presenting the Company.
I) To be included in the senior management roster of the company.
J) To attend all senior management meetings
K) To ensure correct financial systems and procedures are followed throughout the company.
L) To be available to ownership and to report directly any concerns you might have.
M) To be part of a senior management team, which encourages a rich cultural background with clear ethics and respect for others.
Specific responsibilities:
To work very closely with all Senior Management within Souq Waqif hotels. To establish and maintain a detailed filing system. To establish maintain and keep up to date all legal documentation and contracts with the company and that these contracts are signed according to company policy. To provide to senior management and ownership detailed monthly PandL reports, balance sheets and cash flows. To establish clear financial operating system and procedures throughout all areas of the company. To ensure each hotel will be able to provide it's own sets of financial data. To establish control procedures with in the company ensuring that all system and procedures are followed. To manage and be responsible for all cash handling within the company. To manage all be responsible for all bank accounts managed by the company. To ensure all insurance policies are up to date and appropriate for the company. To exercise careful cost control throughout the company. To establish and maintain purchasing and receiving procedures throughout the company. To have clear credit policies and procedures in place and that these are understood by all personnel. To manage a clear aged debtor program ensure that payments are received in a timely fashion. To pay creditors in time and appropriately paying particular attention to those who also provide business to the hotel i.e. travel agents. To ensure stock control systems are in place. To take active part within revenue meetings for the company. To have a clear payroll system in place understanding the To be fully responsible for all accounting software and to ensure that all IT systems are in place so to be able to produce correct company results. To ensure a daily revenue sheet is compiled by noon each day for the company. To spot and drive revenue opportunities whenever possible. To ensure each department has it's own induction program for all new staff. To ensure good relations are kept with local dignitaries and officials. To ensure the communication channels are followed as per the communication chart. To follow eco friendly policies as established by the company. To establish contracts with all credit card companies obtaining the best possible rates possible.
