Alayne Blickle of Horses for Clean Water will explain how horse owners are helped to manage their land in the best way possible for horse health and the environment through consultation, workshops, farm tours, and educational materials. Bobbi Lindemulder with Snohomish Conservation District in Washington state will show how her district teaches landowners to manage their pastures, prevent mud and manure problems, keep weeds at bay, and more. Horse owners may find the methods used by these two organizations of interest, both as potential contacts and by highlighting what might become negative impacts if not controlled properly.
