My client the world's largest financial services institution are currently recruiting for an AVP - Finance position to be based in Riyadh. This position, based in Riyadh, involves supporting the senior Finance Manager in Saudi Arabia, providing Finance support to Global Markets Equities, Investment Banking and Private Wealth Management businesses. The role entails both supporting business growth and controlling the entity in respect of Regulatory, Tax and Financial reporting. Finance in Saudi Arabia is responsible for
o The preparation and submission of monthly accounts and regulatory returns
o Vendor payment processing and employee expense reimbursement
o Implementing and embedding group policies and procedures
o Balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation
o Cash Management and Funding
o Annual statutory Internal audit completion
o Tax planning and compliance
o Control and validation of the daily P&L for the onshore businesses
Control and validation of the daily P&L for the Equities business. Month-end PL and balance sheet reconciliation. Proactive monitoring of revenue and cost-coverage claims under Transfer Pricing agreements. Head Office and Local Financial/Management reporting. Preparation of regular and ad hoc MIS reporting to onshore management with commentary. Co-ordinating the timely filing of withholding tax returns, annual tax returns. Preparing the monthly CMA return Preparing the financial statements and managing the annual audit. Vendor payment processing including employee T&E claims. Petty cash Cost allocations (telephone, parking, air travel etc). Miscellaneous journal postings. Corporate credit card statements. Employee advances (tracking). Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits. Other duties as assigned.
